Fish at The Ash

At The Virginia Ash Pub in Henstridge we have a tempting range of Fish and Seafood on our menus. For Starters we have Prawn & Crayfish Cocktail, served with Marie Rose sauce and Brown Bread, Salt and Pepper Squid, served with Garlic Aioli and Whitebait, served with Salad and Tartare Sauce.

For your Main Course we offer Wholetail Scampi with chips and peas, Fishcake, served with chips and mushy or garden peas, Beer Battered Fish, served with chips and mushy or garden peas and Salmon Steak with Hollandaise Sauce, served with New Potatoes and Asparagus. For Children we also have our popular Cod Goujons, served with Chips and Peas or Beans.

On our Lunchtime Lighter Bites menu we have Prawn Marie Rose Baguette, served with a Mixed Leaf Salad, Wholetail Scampi with chips and peas and Breaded Plaice, served with Chips and Peas.

Baguettes at The Ash

At The Virginia Ash Pub in Henstridge our Lunchtime Lighter Bites menu includes soft but crunchy classic baguettes with delicious fillings, including Ham with English Mustard, Ham and Cheese, Prawn Marie Rose, Tuna Mayonnaise, Brie and Bacon with Cranberry and Chicken with Mayonnaise. All our baguettes are served with a fresh Mixed Leaf Salad.
We also serve a range of filled Panini, Classic Baked Potatoes with delicious toppings and cooked classics, including Wholetail Scampi with chips and peas, Ham, Egg and Chips, Vegetable Lasagne with Mixed Leaf Salad and our classic Macaroni Cheese served with our succulent garlic bread.
Our Lunchtime Lighter Bites menu is available from Monday to Saturday from 12 noon until 3.00pm. Pop down to see us for a lovely pint of lager or beer, or a glass of chilled white wine, accompanied by one of our Lunchtime delights! We hope to see you soon.

At The Virginia Ash Pub in Henstridge we have a great reputation for our ‘Fresh From The Grill’ Menu. We source the finest steak available and we cook it for you to perfection, and to your liking.
All our steaks are served with cherry vine tomatoes, mushroom, onion rings and our delicious chips. Choose from: 8 oz or 12 oz Rump Steak, 8 oz or 12 oz Sirloin, or 8 oz Finest Fillet Steak. Add a delicious sauce of Peppercorn or Blue Vinney and choose between Chips, Mashed Potato, Baked Potato or Salad.

Our ‘Grilled to Order’ selection also includes: Prime Beefburgers with our delicious chips and a fresh salad, complemented by extra toppings of smoked streaky bacon, cheese, or blue cheese.
Spinach and Falafel Burger with Raita.
Peri Peri Whole Breast of Chicken Burger with our delicious chips.
Chargrilled Whole Breast of Chicken- Classic or Peri Peri, served with chips and mixed leaf salad.
Classic Mixed Grill, with an 8oz Sirloin Steak, Chicken Breast, 10oz Gammon Steak, Pork Sausage, a Free Range Egg, Onion Rings, Grilled Tomato, Sauteed mushroom and our superb chips.
BBQ Rack of ribs, with Corn on the Cob, Chips and Coleslaw.
